The Saudi muslim religious establishment has issued orders on how to treat non-muslims. Basically we are to be treated only slightly better than people used to treat lepers. The thrust of this is that a muslim does not want to contaminate himself with western customs, entertainments, sports, funerals, or friendships. It should make us feel better that they treat dogs about the same way.
