What is sharia law really about? Control. That's it. Control through fear of religious police who beat and humiliate anyone who flouts their stupid rules. How stupid are these laws? And to whom are they applied. It just happens that women are the greatest victims of Muhammed and the perverse system of laws and customs his accomplices developed over hundreds of years.
In the Indonesian province of Aceh, long a hotbed of Muhammedan rebellion against the central government, local religious police force even elementary school girls to wear the veil. They force women working in fields to wear garments so large and unsuitable as to be a source of injury. They force everyone to attend religious services or suffer beatings. They restrict entertainments and recreations. Fear rules Aceh.
These fanatics have sought the authority legally to cut off hands and feet of people they consider guilty of breaking sharia law. The governor of the province refused to sign the law so the religious police and their mullahs do not yet have that authority. But they want it. It will increase their power to place fear in the hearts of millions of the people of that province.
This is muhammetan sharia law in action. Wherever muhammetans settle, it follows like an evil shadow. It's purpose is to give power to the sick men who introduce it, who use it to justify the punishments they use to control populations, cities, neighborhoods, families. They are cowards, the men who do this. They bring shame to humanity. They are hateful men who deny love, life, joy, freedom, and equality of the sexes.
